Our story

Built to give growing businesses the accountant they deserve.

Pinnacle was founded in 2014 by James Whitfield ACA, after a decade working in regional and national accountancy practices. The experience was invaluable — and revealing. Most small businesses were being served by firms that were either too expensive to give them real attention, or too small to offer the full range of services they needed.

Pinnacle was built to close that gap. A team of qualified, experienced accountants working exclusively with ambitious UK businesses — with the processes, technology, and communication standards of a larger firm, and the personal attention of a smaller one.

Today, we work with over 350 businesses across the UK — from freelance consultants to manufacturing companies with 80 staff. What they share is ambition. What we give them is clarity.
